Legends Open de France
At VDV Internacional Golf Manejo, under the guidance of our esteemed founder, Jean Van De Velde, and in close collaboration with our dedicated team at VDV Partners in France, we are proud to reflect on the resounding success of the Legends Open de France across its previous editions, and eagerly anticipate the upcoming tournament at Punta Mita in 2024.
Since its inception in 2021, the Legends Open de France has established itself as a premier event on the Legends Tour golfing calendar. The tournament, meticulously hosted by Jean Van De Velde, has seen golfing legends compete on the prestigious fairways of France. Our 2021 event marked the beginning of what would become a cherished tradition in the golfing community, setting a high standard for competitive spirit and camaraderie.
The 2022 edition continued to build on this foundation, enhancing the tournament's reputation and offering an even richer experience for players and spectators alike. With WCM coming on board as the title sponsor, the event reached new heights of professionalism and spectacle, solidifying its status within the Legends Tour.
In 2023, (just as the previous two years), the tournament was held at the Golf de Saint-Cloud. This edition not only celebrated the top-tier talent of the participants but also the strategic challenges posed by the course, which were masterfully navigated by the competitors.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Legends Open de France presented by Chuck Latham Associates will be hosted at the La Forêt Course, Le Touquet Golf Resort, a venue renowned for its rich history and challenging layout. This marks a new chapter for the tournament as it moves to a location that has previously hosted the Open de France six times between 1921 and 1977. The resort, ranked among Europe’s top 20 in 2023 and a fixture in Golf World’s Top 100 Golf Resorts for 2024, promises to offer a unique blend of historical prestige and modern golfing excellence.

Welcome to the WCM Mexico Senior Open, proudly hosted by VDV Internacional Golf Manejo in the stunning luxury resort of Punta Mita, Nayarit, Mexico. Scheduled for November 14-17, 2024, this landmark event, the first-ever Mexico senior open, part of the Legends Tour, promises to be an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike.
Set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, the tournament unfolds at the Pacifico Golf Course, a masterpiece designed by Jack Nicklaus. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, this par-72 course is famed for its “Tail of the Whale,” the world's only natural ocean island green. It offers a real challenge and yet a very enjoyable experience.
Our tournament will gather a constellation of golf legends, including Masters Champion Ian Woosnam, U.S. Open Champion Michael Campbell, Ryder Cup heroes Costantino Rocca and Jean Van De Velde. Joining them is six-time major champion Lee Trevino, who serves as an event ambassador. These iconic players, among other celebrated Legends, will compete for a substantial prize fund of USD $450,000.
In a unique twist, the WCM Mexico Senior Open also features 64 amateur golfers who will compete alongside the Legends Tour professionals in a modified alliance format. This integration of amateurs is set to crown the Mexico Senior Open Alliance champions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
